Associate-Level Certification
The associate level lets you enhance your profession in networking through three sorts of certifications. To earn certification in any of the three, you must pass one exam.
CCNA. The Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is for persons who desire to learn various networking and software development skills. This certification verifies your understanding of network principles, network access, IP connection, network security, and automation.
The exam is 120 minutes long and includes multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions.
Associate with DevNet. Software development is the focus of the Cisco Certified DevNet Associate. There are no prerequisites. However, Cisco suggests at least one year of software development experience and a working knowledge of Python programming. This certification assesses your ability to create and maintain Cisco platform-based applications.
Multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions make up the 120-minute exam.
Associate in CyberOps. There is no official obligation for the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, which focuses on cybersecurity. This credential validates your understanding of cybersecurity operations, skills, and procedures.
The exam has 95 to 105 multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions and lasts 120 minutes.

Professional-Level Certification
Professional certifications are available in seven areas, allowing you to specialize in your area of interest and competence. It is perfect for concentrating your career on a particular subject or technology. You must pass two tests for each certification: one covering core technologies and another with a concentration of your choice.
CCNP Enterprise is a certification program for business professionals. The CCNP Enterprise certification validates your ability to work with networking technologies in larger companies. The 120-minute core exam includes multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. The six focus assessments are each 90 minutes long.
CCNP Data Center is a data center for the CCNP certification program. The CCNP certification focuses on your expertise in dealing with networking technologies within a data center. The 120-minute core exam includes multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Each of the five focus exams lasts 90 minutes.
CCNP Security is a certification program for security professionals. This program will demonstrate your ability to deal with cybersecurity technologies and services. The core exam is about 120 minutes. The duration of any of the six focus exams is 90 minutes.
CCNP Service Provider is a certification program that aims for network engineers and specialists, assessing your ability to provide the proper networking services for Cisco customers. The core test lasts 120 minutes, while any three concentration assessments span 90 minutes.
CCNP Collaboration is a certification program that assesses your ability to use Cisco collaborative tools like phones and video conferencing devices. The core test takes 120 minutes, and each of the five focus assessments lasts 90 minutes.
Cisco CyberOpsProfessional certification verifies your ability to manage and improve cybersecurity for Cisco networking services as a security analyst. A 90-minute concentration exam follows the 120-minute core exam.
Cisco DevNet Certified Professional certification assesses your ability to create and maintain software applications that run on Cisco systems. The core exam takes 120 minutes to complete. Any of the eight concentration exams you choose will take 90 minutes to complete.
Cisco's three most popular professional credentials are CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, and Cisco Certified DevNet Professional.
